Everest Poker Unleashes New Rewards Program

October 18, 2008

Everest Poker unleashed their new VIP rewards program and has named it the Everest Poker VIP Summit Club. The new VIP program was launched after the high demand and complaints that Everest Poker players had and the new program will compete with other loyalty reward systems that sites like PokerStars and Full Tilt has.

“We strongly believe the VIP Summit Club is the most transparent and beneficial poker loyalty program available online. We have listened to players from all poker rooms, all over the world and have tailored our product to address all the issues, both positive and negative, of existing loyalty programs.” said Everest Poker Manager Ken Berman.

One of the high points of the Everest Poker loyalty program is that it’s easy to calculate, and it’s a tiered system that resets at the beginning of each calendar month and will be based on a player’s total number of points earned the prior month. The formula will be for every $1 collected in rake 1 Summit Point will be earned, including fractional points of course. For the tournament formula it will be for every $1 in tournament fees a player will earn 8 Summit Points.

There will be six tiers that will require a certain number of Summit Points to reach them. They include:

Base Camp — 500 Summit Points
Camp I — 3,000 Summit Points
Camp II — 10,000 Summit Points
Camp III — 20,000 Summit Points
The Death Zone — 30,000 Summit Points
The Summit — 50,000 Summit Points
