The opening hand sees Mike Mattusow flop a full house with KQ on a flop of QKQ while his opponent Daniel Alaei holds AK. The turn came a 3 and the river an Ace and Mike ends up getting paid off on the river. Alaei managed to get away without losing his stack in this opening hand but he would not be so lucky later in the episode.
