High Stakes Poker is currently in Season 5 which airs weekly on the Game Show Network (GSN) each Sunday Nights at 9PM Eastern / 8PM Central. All episodes from this season were taped on December 19-21 (2008) at the Golden Nugget, which is located in downtown Las Vegas. Notes: High Stakes Poker returned to its original home this season at the Golden Nugget. Season 2 had been taped at the Palms, and Seasons 3 and 4 at South Point.
During Season 5 the blinds are $400/$800 with a $200 ante and the minimum buy-in is $200,000. Last season the minimum buy-in was $100,000 and the blinds were $200/$400 with a $100 ante.
