Tony G Wins Betfair Asian Poker Tour !
The mouth from down under Tony G has won Singapore's first ever poker tournament. He took first at the Betfair Asian Poker Tour. Tony G's aggressive play at the final table allowed him to win $451,700. This is the biggest win of Tony G's career.
After the win Tony G annouced that he will donate half of his winnings to Asian and Australian charities. This is very generous of Tony G and shows true class of a great poker player.
Tony G said, “I want people to know that poker is sport. This is not a large amount compared to what people like Bill Gates give to charity but it is a gesture to show that it’s not all about the money, it’s about the competition as well.”
