Party Poker and Cryptologic have entered a five year licensing agreement which gives Party Gaming access to several casino games that Cryptologic owns. The two companies are also talking about a possible merge if both companies can find value in doing so.

However, they ran into financial issues with the unsettling USA financial market. Full Tilt Poker has set the schedule for the upcoming Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS) which begins on Wednesday, November 5th. The series carries a main event that has a guaranteed prize pool of $2.5 million and is expected to have over 5,000 players competing.

The Million Dollar Cash game is coming back to television for it’s third season after players such as Daniel Negreanu, Phil Ivey, Patrik Antonius, David Bennyamine, Doyle Brunson, etc. showed up to participate in the cash game that was hosted by Full Tilt Poker. The poker game was played in London, England during the World Series of Poker Europe edition.

Gutshot Poker has made a bold move leaving the long time standing poker network known as MicroGaming Network and is now operating on the booming Cake Poker Network. There has been no direct reason or statement made by Gutshot for the reason of the network switch, but it is obvious that the Microgaming Network is losing their player base rather quickly.

John Juanda was crowned world champion of the World Series of Poker Main Event tournament after a grueling 22 hour final table. Juanda not only wins a prestigious WSOP bracelet, but also gets to bring home over $1.5 million in first place prize money. Runner up went to Stanislav Alekhin and other notable players at the final table included Daniel Negreanu, Scott Fischman, and Ivan Demidov.
