NBC's Poker After Dark
About: Poker After Dark is an NBC produced show that runs 60 minutes and comes on late in the evening and 6 times per-week. There are all professional poker players who play a 6 Handed No Limit Hold'em Sit & Go tournament. The buy-in is $20,000 and apparently it's winner take all. We assume that player's will probably chop the prize pool when it becomes heads up. Poker Babe Shana Hiatt is the shows host. Format: The shows format is quite solid, the producers show nearly every hand that is played throughout the tournament. Each tournament that these professional players play takes around 6 hours and we get to watch 60 minutes of their play each night. The winner is crowned on Friday night and the Saturday night show recaps the weeks tournament. Also on the Saturday night show you will get to see a lot of Shana Hiatt and her out takes. |
