Courtney Friel was born April 22, 1980 in Baltimore, Maryland and is most known in the poker world as being a host on the World Poker Tour. She replaced the popular WPT host Shana Hiatt after hosting three consecutive seasons. Courtney only lasted one season with the World Poker Tour, which was season four. For season five the World Poker Tour hired cutie Sabina Gadecki.
In high school Courtney had a knack for broadcasting and journalism as she hosted the televised morning announcements and participated in the school’s media production class. After high school she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from San Diego State University. During that time she was also working with MTV and other networks.
Not only has she appeared on the World Poker Tour, she has also been on Fox News Channel, Travel Channel, and GameStop.
