Erica Schoenberg was born March 25, 1978 in Akron, Ohio and was a former professional blackjack player that turned into a professional poker babe player. Before entering the gambling scene Erica was a model, personal trainer and a very solid volleyball player. She became a professional blackjack player after receiving training from a MIT blackjack team member.
In 2005 she started to look more seriously in poker and started entering tournaments and had success. She bought into the World Poker Tour $25,000 Championships and placed 16th. From there she gained confidence in the high stakes tournaments and went on to place 3rd in a WSOP event and won over a $100,000 at the No Limit Hold’em Mandalay Bay Poker Championship.
Her cash game is also quite solid and it helps being engaged to the nose bleed high stakes poker player David Benyamine. As of 2008, Erica Schoenberg has a total live tournament career winnings that exceeds over $600,000. She is also endorsed by Full Tilt Poker.
